Your loved one needs care. How will you pay for it?
It’s OK if you don’t have all the answers
You want to make the best decision about your loved one’s long-term healthcare.
But the complexity of care options, family dynamics and financial considerations can be overwhelming.
We’re here to help. When someone you care about has a health crisis you may find yourself being asked to make decisions based on incomplete, uncertain or difficult to understand information. But you don’t have to go at it alone.
Our mission is to empower your decision-making. We will help you understand your options, explore your hopes and fears for the future and develop a Lifecare Affordability Plan (LCAP™) based on your unique circumstances. So you can imagine the best future for you and your loved ones.
How does the
lifecare affordability plan work?
Discovery Session: Define Reality
Everyone’s situation is unique, and we need to understand yours. We interview key family members along with health, legal or financial professionals. Our experience, both personal and professional, guides our discovery process — to lead sometimes difficult conversations that accurately define your current reality as well as your hopes and fears for the future.
Review Care Scenarios: Collaborate to Build a Plan
Armed with information, the Lifecare Affordability Plan (LCAP) team gets to work. We develop multiple potential care scenarios based on input from our discovery process. Together we’ll review each scenario, determine a way forward and discuss any concerns or changes needed.
Deliver Final Recommendations: Move Forward
The Lifecare Affordability Plan contains recommendations to help you pay for the best possible care at a sustainable level. We include likely contingencies, so moving forward, you never have to experience the uncertainty you may be feeling now. Your whole family can reference the LCAP to make informed, intelligent decisions about your loved one’s care.
